Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God. 

Life is not a rehearsal – it is the gift of God for us and it is good. It’s not an endurance test either. Life is serious business, but it is designed to be lived in joy.

Yes, there are moments when we are crying, and when we hardly even know if there is a God, but He always brings us through. “Don’t die yet!”

Mankind is naturally predisposed to expect the worst in life. We easily accept that it won’t work and that it is impossible, but David said, “I would have lost heart if I had not believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” (Psalm 27:13) The Spirit of God renews and refreshes us to believe again.

Expectation and hope dies if we insist on looking at life solely from the natural realm, that is when we demote ourselves and transfer our trust away from the Lord. But if we submit our dreams and aspirations to Him once again and judge Him faithful in all His ways, our strength will be renewed.

Don’t let heaviness sit on your spirit today. That is why a rhema word from God is so important, just one clear word from God can change your whole perspective on life. In St. Lukes Gospel, (Chp. 13), we find a woman with a spirit of Infirmity sitting on her for 18-yrs. She was a worshiper, yet for those 18 yrs nothing was said in the temple that could cause her to straighten up and walk up-right.

Believers need to get hold of this: the help that God sends is His Word.The Word of God is loaded with power to produce in your life, but it must be revered and obeyed.

Here is where many may disagree with me, but that is okay, if you go to a Church where everything is about deliverance and they have deliverance services every week, stand back for a moment and think about it; even if there are several hundred people in your Church, how many demons do they all have between them? How many demons can a Christian have since the Holy Spirit moved in on the inside and He doesn’t co-habit with the devil. In addition to that, the Word is all the deliverance we need as believers.

If someone has hurt you, and you will experience hurt in your life, it is called living, you must learned say, “They made a mistake.” People make mistakes and that includes all of us. The blockage in your heart can be released and you don’t have to carry that weight.

If God has given you a dream, never put it on the shelf. Lift your hands and declare that I am still standing in the realm of possibilities, because my God is a God of the second, third and fourth chance. Nothing can separate me from His love and therefore nothing can keep me down. Let your spirit rise today and enjoy your life!

Start this year off by dusting off your dreams, your aspiration, even your perceptions about what has not worked so far, let your past experiences serve as training for your future. Hold fast to His faithfulness and release the people that you have been holding in your jail, release the situations that are weighing heavily on your mind, Embrace God’s kindness and the unchanging nature of His covenant.
